World Book Day 2020

We had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day!
It was so much fun celebrating our love for reading and stories, with the children and team dressing up as their favourite book characters to bring the special celebration to life. The rooms each looked at a range of stories both together and independently, reading some old favourites and new, exciting stories!
Our Swans had a very special visit from a children’s author, Eleanor McKone, who read her book ‘Piper’s Passport: First Stop Australia’ to the children! They loved listening to the story and then created their own bookmarks afterwards using some of the images from Eleanor’s book to use when they’re reading at home!
