Valentine’s Day 2022

Everyone had lots of fun celebrating Valentine’s Day yesterday at the nursery! All the rooms joined in on the fun and set out unique activities and experiences for the children to take part in.

In the Chicklets Room, they enjoyed making marks in red and white paint to make their own coloured love hearts, which they could share with someone special to them. They also played with pink coloured playdough, feeling the texture and how it changes when it’s stretched and pulled!

The Goslings took part in lots of Valentine’s inspired activities, like decorating love hearts by sticking together different materials using glue sticks and painting them with cotton wool! Meanwhile, the Swans made cards for their friends and family and enjoyed a variety of messy play activities involving pasta, water, playdough and rose petals.
