Vaisakhi Celebrations 2021
16th April 2021
Vaisakhi Celebrations at 22 Street Lane 🥁
Earlier this week, the children at the nursery enjoyed celebrating Vaisakhi, a Sikh festival that’s always celebrated during Springtime. In the Swans Room, they enjoyed designing their own Vaisakhi jewels, which can often be seen on headbands or worn as jewellery and were able to select their own colours, sequins and decorations independently. We think that they all looked beautiful!
They also watched a few video clips to learn more about Vaisakhi and the Sikh traditions and customs often carried out during the celebration.
