Staff Training Day 2018

Staff Training Day;

It’s extremely important that all our practitioners here at 22 Street Lane Nursery undertake regular training to ensure they all kept up to date with latest teaching methods for learning, childcare practices and legislation.

Our training day took place last Thursday at the stunning 42 The Calls Hotel in Leeds; training began by focusing on the enabling environment and how the environment is critical for your child’s learning and development.

We then broke into small groups to work on our team building skills, being able to work efficiently in a team is vital at 22 Street Lane Nursery; our exercise was to make a pair of shoes out of newspaper – each team in turn showing their creativity!

Finally, we studied quality interactions and what children display in an outstanding setting and how can improve these interactions.
