PORTUGAL: Country of the Month

This month, we will be learning about Portugal as the Country of the Month. Portugal is a southern European country on the Iberian Peninsula, bordering Spain. Its location on the Atlantic Ocean has influenced many aspects of its culture, for example, seafood dishes like salt cod and grilled sardines are national dishes.

The children will have the opportunity to learn about the customs and traditions of Portugal, as well as the history of the country. They will also have the chance to learn some key Portuguese words.
