Our New Makaton Sign Language Classes

We are very proud to be teaching Makaton sign language classes to our children regularly, including having a dedicated ‘Sign of the Month’!

Makaton is a language programme which uses signs and symbols to help communication, support spoken language and is the UK’s leading programme for adults and children with learning or communication difficulties.

Our sign for July is appropriately, as we begin our journey, “Hello”! So, how exactly do you say hello in Makaton? Handy illustrations demonstrate the action along with a short and simple instruction.
