ITALY: Country of the Month

This month we will be exploring Italy as our country of the month!! We will be visiting different parts of the country such as Venice, Rome, Florence and Tuscany! We will be looking at the famous landmark ‘The Leaning Tower of Pisa’ and will try and construct this using different materials. We will be making our very own pizzas and choosing our favourite toppings! We will also be sampling various pasta dishes made by our head chef Chris. Italy was the birthplace of the Renaissance in the 14th century, which was a period of great cultural achievements in poetry, painting and architecture. Famous artists such as Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello, and Leonardo Da Vinci were all famous artists in this period, and later became the inspiration for the names of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
