Iranian New Year Festivities 🇮🇷
Last week we have celebrated Nowruz, which is the Iranian New Year, also known as the Persian New Year. It began on the Spring equinox (Saturday 20th March) and marks the first day of Farvardin, the first month of the Iranian solar calendar.
The children enjoyed looking at all the wonderful traditions and food, as well as getting creative with playdough! The family of one of our Cygnets has sent us some lovely pictures of the celebrations they had in the lead up to the holiday.
