Halloween Party 2020

We had a fun-filled day of Halloween celebrations at 22 Street Lane! 👻🧛🎃

On Wednesday 28th October, 22 Street Lane was transformed into a spooky wonderland for all the children to have some Halloween fun! Some of the children went to Forest School in the morning and embarked on a spooky walk, whilst the other children stayed at Nursery exploring pumpkins (what they feel, look and smell like), we even filled some of these with green spaghetti, cornflour gloop and shaving foam to create a more diverse range of sensations. Other children also enjoyed making scary faces with the playdough, playing a range of Halloween games and designing their own spiders!

In the afternoon, the children took part in a disco with a range of spooky Halloween tunes, a game of pin the smile on the skeleton (which was kindly gifted by a parent) and musical bumps! The children really loved showing their friends their wonderful outfits, broomsticks and pumpkins!

A wonderful effort was made with the carving and decorating for our annual pumpkin competition. We have had scary ones, happy ones, dressed up ones and some very colourful ones! A big thank you to all those who took part.
