Fairburn Ings: Bird Nature Reserve Trip

The Swans took a trip to Fairburn Ings, a bird nature reserve, and had a wonderful time! They took part in a ‘Brilliant Birds’ workshop, learning about what different birds are called, where they might live and the different sounds each of them makes!

They then took part in some bird spotting, using binoculars and spotted lots of different birdies in the sky and trees! They played lots of different bird themed games, including a nest building competition and using pegs as pretend ‘beaks’ to pick up as many pretend ‘worms’ as possible around the garden!
