THAILAND: Country of the Month

Country of the Month – **Thailand**

The children at 22 Street Lane Nursery have been celebrating Thailand as the Country of the Month which has been very exciting. Our Nursery reception area has been dressed in celebration; with some stunning traditional Thai clothing ‘Chut Thai’ which means Thai outfit!, Thai Buddha statues, and Thailand’s flag of the kingdom ‘Thong Trairong’ meaning tricolour flag.

The children have taken part in lots of fun activities such as exploring the animals that live in Thailand, we learnt about Thai Elephants and the children even made their own elephants using empty milk bottles!

We have explored different materials and patterns and looked at Thai Temples and Buddha’s. The children have even experienced rice and noodle messy play!!!

Finally, Chef David made the children a delicious home made Thai Green Curry,
which went down a treat!
