Bastille Day Celebrations at 22 Street Lane 🥐
In celebration of Bastille Day, which is the French National Day or Fête Nationale, we held a French-themed day of fun at nursery. The children came dressed in stripes and the colours of the French flag, and took part in lots of activities like creating some beautiful French flag collages using tissue paper and glue, making our own croissants with playdough and building our own Eiffel Tower structures out of natural materials.
Some of the older children also enjoyed practising some French words, including how to say hello, goodbye and how to count from 1-5!
