Ducklings Autumn Sensory Ice Play 🍃

Last week some of the children in the Ducklings Room went on a delightful Autumn walk around Roundhay Park to collect a bunch of different natural resources, such as leaves, pinecones and conkers, to take back to the nursery! Once we were settled back in, the materials were frozen in different sized blocks of ice and we explored them together in the tough tray.

The children loved the mixture of different textures and we took turns discussing how cold the ice felt! We really enjoyed this activity!
