AMERICA: Country of the Month

AMERICA; Country of the Month…

Last week the children of 22 Street Lane Nursery were celebrating America as the Country of the Month which was very exciting. As always the Nursery dressed the reception area in celebration!

We transported the children into a world of red, white and blue through many fun and creative activities, including; ‘colourful rice messy play’! The children also explored with red, white and blue paints and colourful shredded paper in our sensory trays.

Finally, we finished the week celebrating Thanksgiving, and Chef David made the children a traditional Thanksgiving homemade meal, which went down a treat!
The children of 22 Street Lane Nursery have enjoyed celebrating our Country of the Month and learning all about America!
