Key Person

At 22 Street Lane Nursery, we believe that children thrive from a base of secure relationships.

Each child will have their own key person, who helps your child to feel safe and cared for in the group.

The key person’s role is to respond sensitively to children’s feelings and behaviours and meet their emotional needs by giving them reassurance, such as when they are new to the setting.

We pride ourselves on making these links with the child at the earliest opportunity. Each child will have a ‘home visit’ so we can start building relationships with both the child and family.
