Cygnets Room: 2-3 Years
The Cygnets Room is situated on the ground floor of the nursery so that the children have the opportunity to free flow from the indoors to our incredible garden area. Please click on our pictures to view the gallery and scroll down to read more about the amazing facilities in this room.
Children will have access to sand, water, craft, mark making, construction, role play, small world, mathematical, books and sensory activities in the Cygnets room.
Activities will be both adult led and child initiated where children explore and learn about themselves and the world around them through discovery and play.
Children will be supported to develop skills such as sharing, taking turns and manners, which will be an integral part of their daily routine.
The Cygnets Room has a kitchenette to prepare snacks and drinks, a nappy changing area and toilets. Children are supported with toilet training as and when they are ready according to their age and stage of development.
The Cygnets Room is situated next to the Swans Room (age 3-5).
