We are extremely excited to be able to introduce our new Head Chef, David Salter. “I have 25 years’ experience working as a chef and I am extremely passionate about delivering the highest quality of meals to the children at 22 Street Lane Nursery.
After leaving the Armathwaite Hall hotel in 2008, I worked under Timothy Bilton at the Butchers Arms in Hepworth. I then moved to the White Horse in Ledston where I developed a great modern British Menu. For the last 2 years I have been writing for the Yorkshire Evening Post in the ‘life and style’ magazine sharing my recipes.
My recent achievements have been winner of ‘Best use of Local Produce’ from Kirklees council and ‘Venue of the Month’ 3 times in Huddersfield Food Guide.
I am looking forward to sharing my passion for food and launching my new summer menu using fresh produce whilst creating some fantastic, healthy meals for the children of 22 Street Lane Nursery.
